Led by our Artistic Team Director Eddie, the A-Team consists of only the very best hairdressers with cutting edge skills and unique styles. Eddie has attended international courses, seminars and hair shows in 10 countries across the globe in order to pursuit hairdressing excellence.

KEN HONG
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR OF A-SALOON, LA BELLE SALOON, IP SALOON & I-NAIL
Having been in the industry since 1986, Ken is truly the professional and expert when it comes to the hair care business. Ken’s energy, skills and passion has led him to explore new breakthroughs and ventures in the industry for the past three decades. This includes setting up his own brand of exclusive hair saloons as well as rendering his expertise to renowned brands and nurturing a new generation of hair stylists.
Not only is Ken an instructor and trainer at the Peter & Guys Academy, this award winning stylist outdid himself being also the founder and artistic director of A-Saloon, director of La-Belle Saloon and IP Saloon which are all exclusive saloon in the country. Besides the hair business, Ken also leads a number of manicure and pedicure nail salons known as iNail.
EDDIE TAI
MANAGING DIRECTOR OF A-SALOON, HAIR EQUATION & HAIR FONTS, GROUP OF SALOONS
Eddie Tai is the Artistic Team Director of A-Saloon, with 20 years of vast experience in the hairdressing industry. After spending more than a decade working with the industry, Eddie knows what truly drives his passion and love for hairdressing—and it’s not just mastering all the techniques known to the world. It’s how well you connect with the clients by giving them the best hair care experience that is specially customized for them.
Despite graduating with an MBA from Charles Sturt University, Australia and an LLB (Hons) from University of Reading, United Kingdom at a young age of 20, Eddie made the life-changing decision to chase his passion, hairdressing. After returning to Malaysia, Eddie stepped into the industry as an apprentice with a measly salary of RM1300.
A year into apprenticeship, Eddie’s employer presented him with an opportunity to further enhance his hairdressing skill at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy, London. Even with Professional Certificate, Eddie’s age has made it hard for him to be the professional stylist he dreams of. After multiple rejections, Eddie decided to start up his own business. That is when he met the highly experienced Ken, whom would be his partner that established the A-Saloon that we see today.
